    Description:

The conference „PV Power Plants – EU 2012“ is scheduled to take place on March 29 and 30, 2012 in Vienna.

Solar plants are increasingly moving into wider ranges. PV power plants with an output of 500 kWp or more already account for 9 GWp of solar power worldwide. Thereof Europe holds 86 % of the world's PV power plant capacity, but other countries such as the U.S.A and China are catching up quickly.

In its meanwhile three-year old history „PV Power Plants – EU“ was established as a meeting point with good opportunities for professional exchange. The following key issues are discussed at the conference:

    ·         Potential of PV Power Plants and Grid Integration

    ·         Technological Aspects (Requirements for Direct Sale of Solar Electricity, Power Transmission)

    ·         Markets with a special focus on Eastern Europe and European countries, where self-supply is at reach

    ·         Standardized Construction & Installation

    ·         Operation and Recycling

    ·         Financial issues

The conference aims for bringing together experts and decision makers in the field of PV power plants in Europe. Approximately 200 participants from all over the world are expected. The conference language is English.
