Description:
The North European Renewable Energy Convention (NEREC) will be arranged for the third time in September 2010. NEREC is an annual event, with a special focus on the relationship between cutting edge technology, research, finance and commercialisation. NEREC provides a joint exhibition and conference and is a unique opportunity to meet leading Northern European renewable energy technology developers, supplier industries and financing institutions at the same forum.
The convention consists of:
• A pre-conference (by invitation only)
• Opening conference
• Parallel sessions
• Social events
• Exhibitions
Conference
The main objective of NEREC is to create a forum for industrial development. More than 100 top-level speakers will give their perspectives on the industry today and where it is going tomorrow.
This event will provide an industrial, technical, policy and financial platform, attracting CEOs, senior executives and other high-level stakeholders, investors, the media and renewable professionals.
The conference’s parallel sessions will cover:
• Promoting sustainable transportation
• Energy trading in a green economy
• Commercialisation of green technologies - creating a green economy
• Developing sustainable hydropower and associated technologies
• The road to a sustainable energy supply and clean technologies
• Taking wind power to the next level
• The green pitch - innovations and commercialisation of start-up companies
• Smart solutions for "smart cities"
Exhibition
Run parallel to the conference, the exhibition is where the industry comes to do business. We offer the perfect environment for companies large and small to showcase the latest products and services helping to drive the renewables sector and will include representatives from the solar, wind, tidal, wave, bioenergy, CCS, biofuels, and geothermal sectors. If you would like to position yourself as a leader in a rapidly growing market, we have tailor-made exhibition opportunities available to you.
