Organized by SolarPVEVENTS.com and SolarPV.TV

1. About the contest

Objectives:

With “The Solar PV Event of The Year 2009” contest we would like to provide some guidance for the people interested in Solar PV (industry and other stakeholders such as R&D, analytics and experts, financial community and investors, architects and construction industry, politicians and decision-makers) in order to help them to break through the jungle of hundreds of events yearly, so that they could see which events are the most highly rated and decide where their companies and themselves should present, exhibit or attend.

The best:
  • Solar PV Exhibition of the Year 2009
  • Solar PV Conference of the Year 2009
will be chosen.

The procedure of choosing The Best Event includes 3 steps:

Step 1. Submission of Application forms.
All the Solar PV events organizers are invited to submit their events in two categories:
  • Solar PV Exhibition
  • Solar PV Conference
Step 2. Pre-selection of the events by the pre-eminent members of the Nominating Committee.

The Nominating Committee consists of dozens of Top People from the SolarPV industry from the whole value chain, and other stakeholders including among others: R&D, analytics and experts, financial community and investors, architects and construction industry, politicians and decision-makers.

The presence of Nominating Committee will help us to pre-select the 20 most worthy events (20 conferences and 20 exhibitions) and insure that only the best events will be in the running for the prestigious title “The Solar PV Event of The Year 2009” in the online voting.

The Nominating Committee members are entitled to recommend events to the contest before the official pre-selection process begins. This is only applicable if they feel that an event has been omitted and warrants being added to the list.
